Hello Everyone,

Just a few updates about what’s happenin’ at BPL in the next few weeks.

But first…

THANK YOU

For supporting us in 2008, and for your tremendous response to our end of year sale. We braced for what we expected to be a pretty horrid Christmas season and instead, we had record sales in December and sold out of most of the gear shop. Thank you – from the bottom of my heart – for helping BPL go into 2009 ready to rock and roll!

STORE STOCK

So, yeah, the sale sort of depleted our inventory! No worries – you’ll start seeing the stock levels of most of our products go back up next week, and within two weeks, the store should be pretty much fully stocked.

WILDERNESS TREKKING SCHOOL

WTS early enrollment will commence January 15, and be open to Premium Members. We’re really excited about our programs this year, which will include WT1, WT2, and WT3. WT2 programs will encompass packrafting, winter camping, and long distance hiking.

WIKI

Well, one sleeper of late ’08 was the Wiki! It’s growing into quite a neat resource about lightweight backpacking gear, companies, techniques, and more. Kudos to those who have spent countless hours writing and updating Wiki articles. Your time will not go unrewarded ;)
