We have 235 members in CARRYING A GOOD THING TOO FAR. If we order 100 gallons each, what unit price discount might we expect?
We can't discount beyond 50% off but can offer free shipping and will donate 1% to the Save the Saqsuatch Fund.
We're good to go. The free shipping tipped us over the edge. Do you take Pay Pal?
Now I don't really know if this post belongs here, but it seemed related somehow.
I'd like to tell you about a fabulous new all-natural extremely lightweight backpacking food product:
NUTTIN'
It has no artificial ingredients, no sodium, no cholesterol, no fats, no carbs, no protein, no GMO's, no irradiated products, no ingredients harvested from sensitive environmental areas, no ingredients produced with child labor nor sweat shops nor slavery, no dairy, no allergens such as corn, wheat, tree nuts, soy, etc., no added sugars, no preservatives, and is not tested on animals. It packs so compactly and is so light as not to be noticed in the tightest SUL packs. It requires no cooking, no special handling, is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, has no offensive tastes or odors, is not affected by water nor air nor sunlight, and keeps indefinitely.
Post here if you are interested in special bulk pricing.
Hike well,
Eric
PS. For those of you watching your weight (I mean the excess on your body, not just in your pack), please ask for details on the newest member of our NUTTIN' family of products: NUTTIN' LIGHT
PPS. For those of you who might think this might be serious, it is possible you might be consuming too much of our best seller: NUTTY NUTTIN'
Sounds like just what I'm after. How about a free sample?
edit: PS: I promise to order a years supply if I like it.
Ali, the problem with dehydrated water is that I will still need water to rehydrate it… suppose I dont find water? No such problem with nuttin stuff here. I encourage you to find a better solution.
Although I believe you would keep your promised order, alas, I must decline due to the environmental ethics as is clearly indicated in our mission statement. We, as the company producing NUTTIN', care deeply about the impact any of our products have on the biosphere. We have therefore decided to terminate our free sample program due to the increased carbon footprint involved in the shipping process as well as the added packing to the waste stream. But please, take our word for it. NUTTIN' is like nothing you've ever seen(assuming of course you have seen nothing).
I have a question. Does this stuff need to be rehydrated? I could be mistaken in my earlier post.
All you need is some dihyromonoxide to re-activate it.
BTW, is it carbon neutral?
I really won't get excited about it until they get freeze-dried single malt Scotch to go with it.
NUTTIN' is fully ready to use with no added water or cooking of any kind.
But wait, this just in…
BREAKING NEWS
Our board members meeting, just now ending, is annoucing a long awaited decision.
Upon their closer inspection of our aforementioned mission statement with it's immutable environmental stipulations, the board has declared that we immediately cease all sourcing, production, marketing, sales, and logistical activities related to our NUTTIN' family of products including: NUTTIN' (original), NUTTY NUTTIN', as well as NUTTIN' LIGHT.
Sorry for any inconveniences this news may bring.
Long live the Earth and its inhabitants.
Eric
I'm sorry, but this clearly doesn't belong in G Spot. It really needs to be moved to Gear Deals. Roger has made it perfectly clear that this type of marketing will only be tolerated if it is offering some kind of additional benefit to BPL readers, preferably a benefit >20%. (actually that's my preference, not his)
Roger!! ROGER!!!
I'm pretty sure I already saw something like this either in Make Your Own Gear or Food, Hydration, and Nutrition. You know what they say…there's nothing new under the sun.
