OK, here is another nice Christmas present I just got. I have never used a bivy so I have no point of reference.
Does anyone have an opinion on the OR Micronight bivy?
I know there are lighter bivy options. The OR is 19oz. I will likely use it with a tarp.
Any one every use one of these? Why would it be better or worse than, let's say, a Titanium Goat bivy at the same price, half the weight?
I definately need:
full bug coverage
Water resistance but breathable
3 season only
durable enough to handle me thrashing around a bit in my sleep
