A few months ago, I sewed a bug tent to use under my "5 yards to super ultralight" tarp. I attached some grosgrain loops to the underside of the tarp ridgeline and corresponding grosgrain loops along the top of the bug tent ridgeline. Now I am looking for some plastic fasteners that I can attach to the bug tent and allow me to clip the tent to the tarp. I think I need something similar to the fasteners used on the MLD Serenity shelter. Does anyone know where I might be able to find something like this?

Those clips look like mitten hooks — available from Quest Outfitters.

Thanks John. I think you're right about the mitten hooks. I can't believe I didn't think about that when I looked at the Serenity picture.

Another source for hardware such as clips, buckles, fasteners, and the like is Seattle Fabrics.
