Hey y'all-
I am looking at purchasing a nunatak quilt. Why would I prefer tafetta over quantum for a liner, or vice versa?

I think the taffeta drapes over you better, so may actually be a little warmer. It also feels a bit silkier, less plasticky. If you can find a Nunatak quilt w/ quantum out, taffeta in, try turning it inside out and see which way you prefer. Nunatak is now using a 1 oz taffeta, so there's virtually no weight difference
