Winter sleeping bag – Help needed

I have a Western Mountaineering Antelope and absolutely love it. That bag is my go to from Nov.-early March. Mine weighs in at 2lbs 13oz. I have never been cold once in it. Keep in mind that ratings and peoples tolerance to cold is subjective.

since you own an Antelope, how fitting is the bag length-wise? I am 5’7 and I am wondering whether I could theoretically go for the short version (5’6) (?)

If you’re are 5’7 then a 5’6 will not fit. On WM’s site they have a 6’0 bag listed. The 5 inches that are spared can be used for placing a few objects to keep warm? Just a suggestion. I am 6’1 and use bags that are 6’6 and the difference is not noticeable. WM are high quality down bags. Probably the only other company that makes bags as good as WM would be Feathered Friends. You just can’t beat 900 fill goose down. Great craftmanship and the best part, they are located in my hometown of San Jose. I also own a Ultralight and have owned The Highlite but sold it due to the cut being too narrow for my shoulders. Hope this helps.
