I think I have my First Aid kit fairly streamlined and well tought out…but there is always room for improvemnet. Help!

I carry the Medipore wrap since I'm in fear of spraining my ankle again as I did 2 years ago; and had to hike out 12 miles. The ankle still wants to rotate sometimes on the trail if I miss-step. I thought that if I would have had a ACE type bandage, I would have had additional ankle support if I sprain it again.

…you might want to add some prescription pain meds. Some serious strengthening work will help the tendency to sprain.

Not bad.
I would not count sunscreen and insect repellent in 'First Aid' however – I would put them in 'Toiletries', along with toothpaste etc. A quibble maybe.

Cheers
