    Christmas Granola

    4 cups extra thick cut oats
    1 cup shredded coconut
    1 cup pecan chips
    1/4 cup flax seeds
    1/4 cup sunflower seeds
    1 teaspoon ground cardamom
    1 teaspoon cinnamom
    2 teaspoons orange peel
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/4 cup margarine
    1/2 cup honey
    6 ounces dried crannberries (cherry flavored)

    Heat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients except cranberries in large bowl; mix well.
    Spread evenly in 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
    Bake 40 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes.
    Remove granola from oven; stir in cranberries. Cool completely in pan.

    Servings: 16 Serving size: 1/2 cup
    each serving contains:
    286.2 calories
    38.2 Gm carbohydrates
    4.9 Gm fiber
    5.5 Gm protein
    13.7 Gm fat
