ULA Relay change/replacement?

I happened across this just today in a trail journal. From the description:

“I began the trip with a prototype pack from ULA that I just loved and which weighed a pound less than the circuit. Except that I lost a hipbelt strap at the start of the tip and had to carry the pack as a rucksack. Then I broke both of the hipbelt buckles (the ones that attach to the pack body) in Eureka trying to make my own hipbelt. This wasn’t due to a ULA defect, but rather, I believe, from a problem with the company that makes the buckles for ULA. […] The photo below shows the prototype loaded up with 5+ days of food. The pack is sweet and I really want to get my hands on another for my next long walk.”

That looks like the redesigned conduit to me.

Unless the picture at Brian’s website hasn’t been updated, the pack in the picture I linked to doesn’t look anything like the Conduit.

Same roll-top closure, same stretch mesh front, etc. He also has it at roughly the same weight as the old conduit which would make that pack heavier than both the old relay and the new conduit. If that's true and what is pictured wasn't the prototype of the new conduit then it would appear this new pack is between the conduit and circuit and not between the amp and conduit.

Could it be the long awaited Ohm?

If you look at Brian's trip pictures you can see the Ohm and the panel loading Catalyst. I have no idea of course if this is true. I just looked at the pictures and it seems to be a framed Amp and the big pack he has looks like a panel loader. You decide for yourself.
