My husband has been bitten by the light-weight bug and loves your website. He would like to post his gear list and contribute to the forum. Does he also need to become a member or can he post under my membership?

You don't need to become a member to join the forum.

If he does not want to create an account, simply have him post his list up under your name for review….should not make a difference.

Either way, you are soliciting comments and suggestions for another gear list.

Adding to what Tony wrote above…

Your husband needs to sign up in order to post — unless he posts under your name. However, sign up is completely free!

The thing that isn't free is "premium membership" — which allows you to view premium BPL articles. But the forum itself is open to all members — premium as well as ordinary.

Notice that I am a mere ordinary member — without a red "M" next to my name.

Thank you Tony and Benjamin. My husband will be very happy to hear this. Tony, I hear you are drooling over gear again. Ah, the addiction begins anew :)

Linda,

The 1st step in recovery is recognizing the symptoms of addiction before they manifest.

Upon reading about your base weight, I locked up my credit cards and took a Ti stake and slammed it into my thigh.

The pain in my thigh stopped me from going over to the MLD website and buying all new gear.

Curse you and your sub 10 lb base weight.

I feel soooo inadequate with my 11.5 to 12.5 lb base weight. :(

See what I get for passing my sickness along to you?
