It should provide comfort in humid or arid around freezing while sitting on foam behind a windbreak. Open to suggestions of what to make or buy.
Imagined specifications:
-hooded
-covers hips
-half-zip pullover
-DWR
-synthetic insulation (does 3-4oz/yd cover this? Too much? Too little?)
The MEC Women's Northern Lite Pullover goes pretty close for CA$160. It ticks all the boxes except perhaps the length. It looks more like a waist or just to the hip length.
