Does anybody know if the water treatment produced by KlearWater still exists (premixed chlorine dixode solution)? It doesn't seem to be available anymore. Status??

Has there been any update from the Klear Water people? Sure hate to see a cool product like this disappear!
Not answering the question, but…
Why not use either Micropur or Aquamira tablets instead? They are lighter, easy to use (one tablet per liter or quart) and no risk of spilling — and best of all, they have years of shelf life — unlike KlearWater's meager 6 month shelf life (if you keep them refrigerated in-between trips).
Ah , but Klearwater is premixed. Just one cap per liter and done. Also in my experience it last much longer than the 6 months they claim Ive use a bottle up to a year. You can tell if its active by the color so you can know for sure.
But.. I guess its time to to start using my mUV Micro UV Water Purifier.
Do the Katadyn Micropur tablets work the same way as the Klear Water? For instance, one dose of Klear Water will purify one liter in 15mins or,…if you have time, one dose of Klear Water will purify 4-6 liters if you let it sit overnight. I normally hike in the Sierra Nevadas in California and, most likely, there is no contamination in the water anyway but does make you feel a little safer though.
I sent an email to the XiniX team and received a reply. They say that Klear Water is coming back soon in a big way. I am not sure what that means exactly but it is good news for Klear Water fans. I still think Klear Water is the only product that will safely treat larger amounts of water overnight with a small one liter dose.
Micropur (or Aquamira) tablets: You simply drop one tablet per liter or quart of water. Once in, the tablet dissolves and bubbles up like a mellow alka-seltzer. The tablet can be broken in half easily to treat smaller bottles — or to conserve by halving dosage and doubling treatment time.
Online, the "bubble packets" look huge — but they actually pack up real compact and light. I particularly like the individual bubble packaging — no fear of spills, getting wet, getting exposed to sun, etc., etc.
