    Ron,
Kudos on release of the new Ti goodies. Had I known this was coming, I would have delayed my tarp purchase a week so it wouldn't be lonely on the journey to my mailbox. I look forward to setting up the new spinntex duo tomorrow.
This mug looks like a good piece of kit.
Compare it with a Snow Peak Trek 900 Ti (5.5 oz) and it's an easy way to shave ~2.4 oz off the pack weight.

Rand, in case you're reading, when is my new Ti-Tri going to be available for this? :)

Does it fit a bushbuddy? I could be persuaded…

From looking at the bush buddies online and the specs, It's not clear the smallest diameter size pot would be secure but the MLD 850ml is only about 15mm narrower than the BPL just fine.

Any help from a BB owner with smaller than 105mm dia pots??? What the min size that will fit?

Seems like it would be easy to place two regular Ti skewer stakes across the top of the stove in a V shape to support any size smaller pot.

I took the BushBuddy question to mean "Will the Ti pot hold a BushBuddy" rather than the other way around. So, what's the minimum inner circumference and height of the 850ml pot??

    The MLD 850ml Mug is about 95-96 mm / 3.75" inside and 126mm / 5" tall.

    Ron,

Beautiful ti mug. Is there any chance of a matching Trail Designs Caldera Cone for this mug?

On another note, your Dyneema packs look fantastic. I have an Exodus on my short list.

    Thanks.

Mark, you should shoot the guys at Trail Designs an email and ask them! I'm sure if the demand was there they would be interested.

    All:

It appears that the MLD pot is from the same manufacturer of the BPL pots and the UOG pots and the Alpkit pots, the new Backcountry.com pots…etc. However it looks to be a little taller than the 700ml sizes and skinnier than the 900ml. We will need to get a sample in hand against which a cone may be sized. I've contacted Ron requesting a demo sample.

The Alpkit titanium pots, and possibly some of the others, are generic, and made in a factory in China. They are re-branded for individual customers. The pots are also sold under their own brand, Tibetan.

Me too. MLD's new pot with Caldera Cone looks to be the perfect combination.

this pot capacity / weight ratio sounds great.

what i dont understand with Tibetan production under their brand name is why there is so much difference between the 900 ( wich is a bit too short to fit the bushbuddy) and the 1100 ( wich should be perfect for the BB ),

only explantion would be they are using differents thickness of titanium
