Looking for some help from the locals. I'm planning on going Skiing/Snowboarding on my winter break (New Years) and want to head down to New York for about a week. Lots of slopes to choose from and I'm confused. I was hoping someone could give me the inside scoop. I'm bringing my girlfriend who is at best a blue rated skier (I'm nothing to brag about either!), so I'm not interested in anything crazy. Nice big long green and blue runs will be fine with a place/logde to stay…hopefully at the foot of the hill so I can romance her with the sweet stats of cuben fiber and dyneema backpacks…anyone?
