Enjoy!!

Lemongrass and Ginger Rice with Salmon
Serves 1-2

1 3 ounce foil pouch salmon
½ cup instant rice
3 tablespoons dried vegetables
2 tablespoons coconut crème powder
1 teaspoon lemongrass
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon vegetable bouillon
2 packets True Lime
Salt, pepper and olive oil to taste

At home: combine all of the dry ingredients in a zip locking plastic bag. Carry the olive oil in a screw top container.

In camp: add just enough hot or cold water to cover the rice. Allow to rehydrate, and then stir in the salmon, salt, pepper and olive oil.

Tasty look'n receipe! Don't have any salmon, but I do have 3 oz packets of tuna…I know not the same. Now the true lime, where do I find that? Is it a powder or a liquid? Thanks.

True Lime (and Lemon) are awesome powders – often found in the baking aisle or with the sugar. They come in packets and also in large shakers. It is dried juice. Stuff is worth getting!

I second the vote for True Lemon & Lime. Good in recipes, good in drinking water, and you can make great trail Margarita's with True Lime!

Monty, knowing you live in the PNW somewhere….Safeway always has it, as does all of the Kroger owned chains (QFC, Fred Meyers, etc).
