Featherlite MItts durability

Not that this helps much, but I just ordered some. $140 was steep but $70 will do if they're quality. It's dumping in the mtns right now so I should have at least an initial report in a couple weeks.

I ordered a large based on the sizing chart and measurements, I hope they fit. I have big hands but clearly the L is supposed to fit based on the sizing chart.

I used mine last winter a lot and love them to pieces. They have held up fine gripping trekking poles during snowshoe trips and ski poles during the cross country ski trips (those were just day trips), and occasional scrambling. Plus, I didn't need to use handwarmers because they do such a good job keeping my hands warm with merino liner gloves or possum gloves when it's really cold. I just ordered a pair for Mr. B.

Keep in mind I do seem to be easier on my gear than some people, in particular Mr. B who breaks and loses everything. I'm still using the same shoelaces in my boots that are 7 years old.

Got my mitts when I came home from my ride today, so far they are cool! Super light (i'll scale them tomorrow) and actually fit great according to the sizing chart which was my biggest worry. Soon enough I'll get them outside and we'll see how warm they are.
