I nearly stepped on that little guy. I was day hiking and it was raining so I was in a hurry to get back to the trailhead. If he hadn't been so bright, I probably would have missed him.

Hey Roman, is that a coral snake?

I was trying to remember the rhyme, "red touch black, good for Jack; red touch yellow, kill a fellow"?
