Golite Adrenaline 40

I've used the 20 degree version. Not the 40 degree version.

I think it's about as nice as a bag like this can be. 20 ounces is pretty freekin' light for a full (non-quilt) bag. I like the zipper on top. Really simple design. Are you skinny? THey fit pretty snug…

The fabric is pretty thin, so you need to be careful with it. But – a light bag is made of light material.

I have the Golite Feather 20* in trim. Should be about the same as the new Golite girths. I've taken the Feather to 13F with just wool socks, softshell pants and a long sleeve base layer in a 3 season tent (lots of mesh).

I'm looking for something that I can use in conjunction with my warm clothes (Montbell UL inner parka and pants) to reach a low temp in the 20s or lower.

I have the 40 degree GoLite DOWN quilt, and it's pretty nice. Highly recomended.

The actual shape and cut of the ADRENALINE series is pretty nice too. THe top zipper is short and the hood is a nice feature.

Either the ADRENALINE 40 or the QUILT 40 would be super versital and a good summer bag.

The quilt isn't 20*? I thought it was (after all it is called the Ultra 20). What are you comfortable taking the quilt down to? How warm in the quilt are comfortable. I find that at 35* or higher my Feather is too warm even with the zip open and my feet out of the foot vent.
