What is "my locale" supposed to be. Is it where you live, where you tend to hike or is it where you are in your profile picture. I live near Raleigh, NC, but hike more in Virginia, yet my Avatar pic is in Three Sisters Wilderness.

Many of us use it for whatever we want.
My is set to where I do day hikes and to identify the part of the country I am in. It does not have to remain static, change it as you change.
