Just thought I would let you know (if you haven't heard already) that the Montbell Peak Shell has been discontinued.
Kind of surprising, since the peak shell seems pretty popular on BPL forums. But perhaps they decided they needed to cut the weight in order to compete with the 9oz eVent jackets.
The "replacement" for the peak shell is the Outpace Parka, which is lighter, but doesn't have pit zips and lists at $250 rather than $200.
Anyways, this was just a shout out to anyone thinking of buying one… get in quick before they all disappear!
