I just found out that me and my 2 closest friends will doing the Across the Years 72 hour foot race.

We were all on the waiting list.

It starts Dec 29th and ends the 1st.

Michael Popov and I have a bet that the one with the least miles at the end has to walk the track in a pair of Tighty Whities and a Cowboy Hat.

He wants to do 262 miles, or 10 marathons.
He is more than capable of doing this, but I know I can keep ahead of him doing the tortoise and hare trick, (me the tortoise).

Wish me luck!

Hey Robert,
This is an actual race around a 1/2 kilometer track, but yes I will be sleeping in one of my h/m quits for the short rests I take.

Aaron, I was just looking at the website for this event, and if you are planning to do 262 miles or more, you could win this thing.
As you probably know, the top 6 from last year are 48 and older. A 50 year old came in 1st and a 75 year old came in 15th. How can these guys run for so long? Don't get me wrong, they must and are be serious athletes, but 75, jeez that's crazy!
Another question, is this supposed to be fun? :)
