Oware Alphamid – Alphamini

Looking at the website, I think that the alphamid is the standard pyramid configuration (4 sided) with the tall center, and the alphamini is a lower half-pyramid (3 sided), only requiring one trekking pole.

An alphamini is an alphamid made of cuben fiber. The alphamid and alphamini are both the same shape, a half pyramid.

The Alpha-mini is cuben and smaller than the standard Alphamid.

OK, so the difference is that the Alphamini is made of cuben fiber and is smaller then the Alphamid. The website states that the Alphamid is sized at 4.5' x 9' x 6' and requires stacked poles to erect (or hang the top). The Alphamini requires only 1 pole to erect…Anyone have an idea what the size of the Alphamini is?

49" high
3'8" wide
7'6" long

May I ask how you like/liked it? As someone who is 6'3", the length jumps out at me right away as a problem..yes?

I am 5'11" and found it too small. Because of the slopping walls it has about 6 feet of usable space unless you set it up real high. I wouldnt think its long enough for you. Otherwise its an awesome design and I wanted it to work badly but it just didnt fit.
