How waterproof and packable are these? I got a DriDucks pant today and even though it's very lightweight, its volume is a lot bigger than that of my Pertex pant.
Totally waterproof. My size large with ankle zips weigh 6 oz. and pack the same as a pair of thick wool crew socks and very thin 10wt wool tee shirt. I love them!
I purchased my pair in 2002- Large with no zips,they weigh 4.8 oz. Water proof,some what breatheable and don't foreget BUG proof. I have used the same pair for over 6 years. A great investment!! I think zippers are overated and heavy!!!
I used to own the old version without the side-zips but sold them because i think side-zips make them more usable (quicker on and off). Thanks for the information!
