Has anyone heard anything more about whether the TiGoat AGP will once again be produced. The huge member discount on the BPL Stix is enticing but I really think I want adjustable poles for use with a shelter and for traveling. Also, I think GG is going to produce their own adjustable UL carbon fiber poles. Am I putting too much stress on adjustability?
I'm hanging out too, as adjustability is very important to me.
On August 8, DJ had this to say: "The AGP's aren't discontinued yet, but I'm having trouble getting tubing for the lower sections. I have orders in to 2 different suppliers, but it looks like it might be a manufacturer problem"
So hopefully patience will pay off!

I was told that it would be at least a month.
I too am waiting patiently for their return.

When did you get the email? I had exchanged emails with them about some custom work, then when I had asked all of my questions and had received answers on them, I requested a price and details how to order since it was custom. Then, no replies to any of my 3 emails to them in the past few weeks.

I believe they have been very busy of late. Not an excuse, just a possible explanation?
If they're switching suppliers, I hope they retain the quality control. I'm new to using hiking poles, but I got my AGP's back around February and I'd be hard pressed to sell, or even trade them. They've made my trips so much more enojyable, and even safer in some places.

I received an email from tigoat 6days ago a few hours after sending one.
If you travel at all, a telescopic/compressible set of poles is a big plus. Ditto for those who use their trekking poles to prop up their tents, tarptents, or other shelters. Thirdly, when hiking segments of trails that don't require poles, it's just a lot easier stashing them away (or even holding on to them) when they are compressed.
As a current user, I would say these adjustable goat poles are WELL WORTH THE WAIT.
