Hi all,
I'm in the market for a 02 Rainwear Jacket ( the yellow one) and I've read a lot that the sizing can be problematic.
I'm a Mens small/ Medium- 37 inch chest.
I've heard it's best to size up to avoid blowing out the seams in the arms with movement- is this true? Anyone with experience of this?
I'll be in a base layer of either merino or synthetic depending on the season, and maybe a 100 fleece vest on colder days.
Any help appreciated.

It's been a couple of years since my O2 jacket died. My memory was that I sized up from large to xl. I actually considered going to xxl because there were still a bit of tightness in some places with the xl, but the xxl was just too darn big. The cut is really awful, but the jacket served faithfully for a number of years.
I found the sizing / cut of the dropstoppers to be a bit better, cheaper, and they seem to have very similar performance to the O2 jacket.

I'm 6'2", 180 lbs, and the O2 Rainwear size XL fits me nicely. The sleeves are long enough (I take about a 35" sleeve) and the pants are long enough too. Great raingear, I really like mine. There are some days that I wish they came in a color other than screaming yellow, but I have no complaints when it comes to performance.
