It sounds like you would be interested in either the 2R or 2C depending on your height and needs. The only other options that I recall are full front door, side windows, and wind stabilizers. Only you know the environment you intend to use it in and the weight to be carried. The 2C may be your best option compared to a bivy.

I am always looking at the new tents as they come to market, but since I bought a 2R about 5 years ago I have yet to have the slightest inclination towards new tent envy. It's like buying a WM bag, just get it and never look back.

I like to hear comments like that William. After years of looking at the Warmlites, i finally bit the financial bullet and ordered one. A 2RL is on its way as i type. :)

Stephen, My Warmlite has worked well in all seasons. Whether you decide on 2R or 2C depends on your intended usage; the 2R is spacious for two plus gear and if you really count the ounces probably not necessary. I do recommend the L (large door) option if you plan to use the tent for two people and (even more strongly) the S (side windows) if you plan to use the tent in warm and muggy conditions. Unless, that is, you like sleeping in a sauna.

..difference between the R and the C?

The C tents are 2 foot shorter. Designed with climbers in mind, who may have difficulty in finding a spot big enough to pitch. :)
