anyfolks have experience with dye??
i have a pack that i like and fits me well but the yellow colour is a bother and i'd rather dye it a dark colour
the pack is an osprey exposure 66 to give an idea of colour and material type.
black or therabouts is good with me
where should i look for info??

john. i highly doubt the dye will get into the fabic. i assume your back is a light wt. silnylon type fabric? i guess i would contact the manufacturer to see if they have any suggestions. most dyes are made for cotton, unless there is something new out there.
