I recently used a Big Agnes Clearview and encountered what I feel is a design or manufacturing flaw in the valve body.
The valve is seated in a plastic body that is bonded into the mattress. The edges taper to thin sections with sharp corners, quite capable of lacerating mattress material.
I could have folded the valve over at some point and stretched/lacerated the body material over the corner, perhaps while packing, but I believe it happened when I scooted the inflated pad toward one end of the tent and the valve hooked on the tent floor and folded under the mattress.
I am generally careful with my gear, but in this case not careful enough.
Repairs were accomplished with Tear-Aid Type A, specifically for polyurethane.
I cut 8 small squares, cleaned the mattress with alcohol, applied 4 patches, burnished, and applied 4 more.
Those corners are sharp!
I let it set for a day while hiking, inflated, and slept well for the duration of the trip.
I have not heard back from Big Agnes, but will update as things are resolved.
I the meantime, if you are a Clearview user, buy a box of Tear-Aid Type A. It is worth the effort and the $$.
