Time to resurrect a long-retired BPL Stealth 0 Nano! After weathering a storm with some very high winds, the thread-holes of the front ridgeline tieout stretched into something like miniature swiss cheese. (This was after seam sealing.) How should I repair/reinforce the tieout stitching? I have silnylon scraps, as well as the McNett patch kit. I could also hunt down some scrap cuben fiber if that would be preferable. Suggestions from staff or other forum-ites welcome!

This one is a bit tricky, but possible.
My #1 option would be to buy a roll of proper 1" wide seam-stick transfer tape and get some scrap Cuben fabric. I can recommend the 3M 9845 tape – you can get it from sailmakers and other 3M distributors.
Then I would lay the 1" wide transfer tape down onto the Cuben fabric to make a Cuben-backed version of adhesive tape. I would then cover the seam lines with this tape, and rub it down *hard*. This will produce a good result.
Variations:
Other aggressive acrylic-based transfer tapes.
Double-sided tape instead of transfer tape.
Proofed polyester fabric instead of Cuben (nylon is more stretchy).
Proofed fabric with a double-sided tape (tape carrier is non-stretchy).
Seam-Grip instead of transfer tape.
The McNett patch kit is not a bad compromise, although you may need several kits if the seams are long.
However, you can't use the silnylon as the adhesives won't stick to it.
Cheers

Silicon adhesive is pretty much the only adhesive that works with Silicon impregnated fabrics and it doesn’t work worth beans with other fabrics … so if you decide to repair with cuben:
Oware lists Cuben scraps at 1/2 his cost.
Quest Outfitters sells tape that is used with Cuben
Option #1 it is. Thanks very much, Roger and Jim. I'll order some cuben and some tape, and hopefully still have a sub-5oz tarp. I might reinforce the rear ridgeline tieout this way as well.
I recommend using a cuben patch bonded with Aquaseal. It is another McNett product that bonds cuben better than seam grip. Just paint the patch with it. Keep the layer as thin as possible and press it in place making sure you get air bubbles out. The tape still allows some stretch between the two layers which means the original material with the holes will continue to pull apart.
