I am considering climbing Kilimanjaro in December 2008. I am concerned about the correct layers of clothing to wear. Some experts suggest so much gear that it becomes prohibitively expensive. I live in Western Australia where there are no mountains and no snow.
So, how would you fit me out for the climb? I can probably rent a down jacket, but will have to buy the rest.
