Idea For Ultralight Fishing Pole Case

A few years ago, I purchased some very inexpensive plastic fluorescent lightbulb covers/protectors at a restaurant supply for a couple of failed MYOG projects (mapcase gave the maps a rolled up set, didgerido had only so so sound).

But, if the inside diameter (1 5/8") is sufficient, these would be perfect for UL fishing pole cases. They do come with ends although the ends have easily plugged oblong holes to accommodate the bulbs prongs…
