Mesh back or not, I'll take either. Anything production out there under 2oz in a trim cut men's medium?

The last trip had me thinking I mght need one more core piece while moving in temperatures close to freezing (late night/early AM at high elevations).

Patagonia Helium–I have one of these, though I'm honestly not sure if it was called Helium then. Also not sure if they still make the vest. But the Helium jacket weighs 2.3 ounces. Cut off the arms, you're under 2 ounces. Melt the edges, you're done. Could dress it up a bit with bias tape created from the sleeves. I know you're looking for a production piece, but this could literally be done with a pair of scissors…

True. I've got or can get another GoLite Wisp pretty easily and cheaply if I wanted to just hack the arms off. That pullover weighs 2.66oz in a medium with the heavy sewn in stuff sack.

I'm not sure the helium jacket is even still around? I haven't heard the name lately.

A full zip would also be nice but I could do without. Montbell has a good one but I was curious to see what else is out there.

Looks awesome Bill. Problem is I usually run out of time these days so if I can't order online and have it show up on my door, sometimes stuff just doesn't happen.
