Big enough. Light enough. Cheap enough. Strong enough.

Good straps, good size mesh pockets. Side straps a bit skimpy for attaching a pad or tent to the sides, but modifiable. I stiffen mine by unrolling my pad inside and putting my tent pole sections between the coils of the pad to make 'stays'.

In fact, you can have mine for £30 if you like. I just got a lighter prototype MLD pack. I only used it for two weekend trips.
