Has anyone used MLD's Pack Covers? They're much lighter than a Sea to Summit pack cover (2.4 oz. compared to 4.0 oz. for a 3600 ci pack) How does the 1.35 silnylon hold up? A lot of the trails I hike in PA are only semi-maintained, meaning my pack/cover often brush up against overgrown vegetation.
I currently use a pack cover from ULA but it is made of the same matterial and for rufly the same size pack Has held up great on some the poorly maintained trals here in weastern Nc
I have the Medium and the Small size. They've been great, although to be honest I think I've only had to use them a couple times. I don't see them having any durability issues though. As far as workmanship goes – all of Ron's work is top notch and these pack covers are no exception. His weight specs on these two products were right on the mark too.
