It is my understanding that some sort of a change in their liscense has caused Integral Designs to stop using event fabric in their tents. It is also my understanding that this was, hands down, the best or one of the best free standing single wall tents on the market. Any body know when we might expect another single wall free standing tent made out of event?
Nov 1, 2005 at 8:48 am #1344117eVENT can still be used in bivies sacks and hooped bivy shelters. acc. to a telcon with ID, this is b/c one can’t reasonably cook in a bivy.
sorry, can’t ans. your specific ques.
on the top of each Forum web page are a series of “blue” (the default color in my browser) links, each preceded with a triangle.

use the “> Search Forums” link (NOT the “Search BPL” TextField at the upper right of the webpage) to search all of the Threads in these Forums for info related to your question. this matter has been discussed in great detail at least one or two other Threads weeks and months ago.
you may find some more info of interest to you in the other Threads.
Nov 1, 2005 at 9:30 am #1344119I have been eyeing the new ID Microbivy in Event. Mainly for climbing as it is too heavy for backpacking :)
Nov 1, 2005 at 12:49 pm #1344125I find it interesting that Big Agnes still is selling the Sarvis tent with part eVent fabric. If ID cannot use it in a tent, why can Big Agnes?
Paul is right, there is a lot of discussion about eVent in tents in earlier threads.
