Ibex Hoody this Sept…

Last I checked "DCWOOL" gave a 15% discount in the Ibex checkout. Might make that Hoody almost affordable.

Just a note; Icebreaker has two hoodies on the market now! The weight is 320 gm/sy. They are the Conquest and the Nomad. There is a lightweight 190 gm/sy hoodie, the Atlantis, also.

I wear wool only (and I have lots of it) and IMO Icebreaker is much nicer than Ibex.

Sounds nice for cold weather. But I think people here will be more enthused about the Icebreaker Quantum Hood. I ordered one from an NZ shop because I've had trouble getting size small hoodies from them here (they often go out of stock before I get a chance). 220 g/m2 (compared to 390 g/m2 for the Shak). I haven't had much chance to use it though, I got it just as summer hit, so I only wore it on one day hike so far. I'll post a full review when I get to really test it.

I'm sure that I'll also get a hooded Shak.

Anyone have one of these? I hate black and wish it would come in green but it looks nice…

I'm contemplating one for winter, but as long as local high temps are over 95 and it's not on sale, I plan to wait a little longer before I purchase one.

I tried one on–love it! Great athletic fit, but a hair loose, great pocket, comfy. Just hit our store this week. On my short list…

Especially of the hood? You never know how these things really look…
