Has anyone tried the Lafuma Sursac bivy bag? It is a simple sleeping bag cover with a breathable top and PU coated bottom. Reported weight is 19oz and they are selling for ~$70US. Sounds like a good mate with a poncho shelter.

if you want to go cheap and lightweight, try the oware bivy
… it is 5.75oz, totally breathable, with a built in drawstring noseeum bugnet. I have yet to use mine, but it is well made, and is intended for warmer weather. It is $99 for a regular, and a few bucks more for a long. His tarps are nice too, I just got the 6×8' 30d silnylon which is 10oz, and so much more coverage than a poncho tarp for a couple oz's more.
Equinox is 60 bones and weighs 7 oz.
