I was wondering if any one knows of a company that makes tarps out of 1.1/1.3 silnyon in a 6'x10' size with the loops. Cheaper and lighter is better since I will probably convert it into a poncho. Thanks.

you might try Campmor for their Equinox tarps. Come in a nice stealthy GREEN, too!

If you possess the skills to turn a tarp into a poncho then I would suggest making it yourself and it would be really cheap. Not to mention a 6×10 tarp is a huge poncho.
I am 6'5" and weigh about 225#s. Not that big really as I have a 5×9 and it doesn't work.
If I make it myself the materials will cost me about $50.
Try Cooke Custom Sewing. They make several sizes and use loops exclusively. Very well made.
