I would like to know more about trail shelters, especially those on Ouachita trail in Arkansas.

I am planning a Thanksgiving Ouachita trip for 4 or more people. Anyone know the square footage of the shelters? How about the competition for space at that time of year?
This link to trailjournals.com shows a picture of one of the shelters. You can search further in this site for more pics. I don't think you will have much competition for the shelters. I have only been on this trail twice, but saw very few hikers each time. Best of luck…..
