Everything looks like an improvement except, ironically, the pixel count boost. Hopefully it doesn't gain noise, or excessive noise reduction, as part of the bargain.

A lof of GRDII users like the electronic level, which makes even more sense on the GX, and the teleconverter is a welcome option. More speed and better screen, everyone can agree on as a good thing!

Sony has indirectly explained that it keeps coming out with higher pixel count CCDs because that is what the public wants. I put some of the blame on the demise of so many specialist shops and the proliferation of on line sales and box movers.

The audio and visual level warning is a bonus, most of the time I need to use the grids if shooting using the screen.
