Has anyone used this bivy? Good/bad luck?? I'm thinking about migrating from tent to tarp/bivy system.
This bivy looks like it might be worth trying for $139, but I have no bivy experience yet, so I'm not
sure exactly what I'm looking for.

Just made the first batch. Haven't sold any yet. Do have
a 2nd that would be 30% off.

Note the net panel over face rather than full fabric. The
zipper is integral and will keep out fire ants etc.

Hi David,

I am interested in the 2nd for 30% off. Can you tell me what's wrong with it?

I'm interested in a two person tarp as well. What do you suggest for that?

Thanks,
John

This bivy is one to use everyday. It takes the place of a ground cloth
and will keep out drafts, spray, dirt and insects. Not a stand alone
shelter as the top is water repellant, not waterproof, but it breaths
very well. Sleep with your pads on the inside to keep them from slipping
out from under. Use with quilts to keep them over you. The hood stuffed
with clothes makes a good pillow in mild conditions and to keep the clothes
handy and out of the dew if the night turns cold. There are two tie out
tabs over the face to hold the net up off you in buggy conditions.

For a fancier and lighter two person bivy check out the one offered at
BPL too.

The 2nds has a snip about 3/4 inch long down near the foot on
the top panel.
I would include some fabric for a patch or would patch it before it went out which ever you prefer.

Call or email off list for more info.

David,
I left you a voice mail & sent an email through your website 3 days ago. Also a BPL PM. Never heard back.
John
