How narrow a pot would you go with a White Box Stove? It works great with my MSR Titan 2L. I've heard it's ok with the Titan Kettle. I'm looking at the Firelite SUL 900 (think it's wider than the Titan). Anyone have experience with this?

I've used mine with a Snow Peak 900. A few flames come up and lick the sides, but nothing that keeps it from being avoided. Make sure to use something to grab the handles. They will be hot.

I too use my White Box stove with my Snowpeak 900 pot. The diameter of this pot is 4.75" and the diameter of the Firelite 900 is also 4.75" so conditions between the two will be nearly identical.

It won't hurt to reiterate what Christopher points out however, and that is to be careful with how you grab hold of the sides of the pot as the flame pattern from the White Box will warm the sides of the pot considerably.

I shot a video of my friend Trailhead learning how to use her White Box Stove on Sunday. I know she was using a narrow Ti pan…I need to go back and look at what she was using!
When I use my WBS I usually use my Primus or GSI tea kettles, as they are wide and flat.
