Six Moon Designs Traveler

Bought one for my wife.

We live near Ron so he fitted her with the prototype. She was looking at the Essence, but the shoulder harness is not adjustable on it, and with her short torso length, it didn't carry right. When the first production run came in, we went back and picked it up. With the 15 inch shoulder straps and a medium hipbelt, it was great.

We took it out for 3 days and 2 nights last week. She had 18 pounds in it and it carried great (compared to her 5 pound external frame pack).

If you like panel loaders – and I do – you'll love this thing. Now if Ron would only put the same adjustable harness system on the Essence, panel loader lovers would have two good packs to choose from depending on the volume they need. We also got a set of 18 inch shoulder straps and a large hip belt in case I manage to steal it from her sometime.

The only thing she wasn't totally satisfied with was that the hip belt pockets were positioned too far back for her to comfortably operate the zippers.
