You know… I imagine that with all the controversy of BPA… can manufacturers are probably 'burning the midnight oil' trying to come up with BPA-free alternatives. That'll be great. Better safe than sorry!!! In the meantime… I'm gonna switch to the new BPL Trapper's Mug. Ordered mine about a week ago. Should be here any day!!!!!! Can't wait :)

Yea!!- I am going with the Snow Peak 450- I like handles. Do you think the Hieny Can is ok for just a weekend? One night? I have a 10 day trip coming up in July and was going to use the Hieny can because of it's -weight and storage capabilities. I guess not.

Eden Organic foods have been using BPA-free (they are still plastic lined) cans for a very long time. I think they use them in every one of their cans except for tomato paste, (the acids react with the aluminum).

So I guess you could use an old Eden can rather than spending all that money for a new titanium mug.

Hey Max. Yes. I had head about Eden Organic's BPA-free cans. Very cool. But of course… a tin can would be a little heavy…. relatively speaking. I'm really looking forward to my new Ti mug!!! Truth be told… I may have bought that mug either way. I do love new toys :) But the BPA thing and the fact that it's only 8 grams heavier then a Hieny made it a no brainer for me (and my wallet… LOL).

As for Hieny Can use Jay… your guess is a good as mine!!!

The problem with search is that you might want to find posts with 'hat' in them, but it ends up giving you every post with 'that' or 'hater' or 'shat' or 'phat'.
