Try EX OFFICIO convertable pants. Some are maid bug proof and the matarial feels good on the skin-breathable! Check there website-good luck.

I have had a pair of Cloudveil pants with their inertia fabric, that after only a few wears started to get a major wrinkled look in the outer fabric. The inner lining has also pilled quickly too. A few emails to customer support weren't replied to, can't say I recommend them.

I can second the Ex Officio convertible pants. Mine have the swimsuit type liner, so I don't wear shorts under them. There is also an internal and external flap over the short/pant zipper, for what I assume to be for preventing snags on underwear if worn.

Jay,
If yours are the same/similar, have you used with longer shorts underneath to test these zipper flaps? I'm curious how well they prevent snags.
