Are you buying? Is this why you were asking about storing boots in a tent w/o a vestibule?

Shhhhhhh…..

Actually, this may surprise you, but I have two backpacks (MS Ghost and Z Pack) and two tents (BA Seedhouse 2 SL and GG The One).

I wish Montbell would put more pictures on their website of their tents. I had no idea this tent had do much ventilation or even those internal hanging pockets. I was under the impression that this tent would have about the ventilation of a tarptent in a rainstorm, with all the hatches battened down, but it looks a little better than I thought.

Yes, I was inquiring about the Crescent, but they don't sell them in Japan for some strange reason. So I've not had any opportunity to even see one. I wonder if it's MB America's answer to the single-skin drytech version of the Monoframe shelter, which may not be allowed to be sold in the States for the same reason that eVent tents are not allowed?

Hey Miguel:

If you are interested in buying, I can help ship it to you.

Thanks, Ben. I have to think about whether or not my wife wants to get serious about backpacking before I buy a two-person tent. I'm not sure if the Crescent 2 is what I am looking for. Don't like the door very much… May go for the MSR Hubba Hubba HP.

Art,

BackpackGearTest.org is just starting a Test Series for the Crescent 2 and the initial reports are just going up. You'll find many useful pictures, and useful commentary, there. We just finished one on the Thunder Dome 2, the Crescent's free-standing cousin. Cheers, Richard
