Hey guys! I've been doing a lot of research lately in regards to finding a lightweight solo tent. Everything I've read has steered me in the direction of the tarptents. Most of the time I will be going solo with the exception of my two dogs. Initially I was looking at the DR because the setup seemed most ideal however, the rainshadow at only a few more ounces seems like it would be a really good option for the amount of additional space you get. My questions come down to this then- would the DR be suitable for a single person (i'm 5'11", 185 lbs) and two dogs (boxer and shiba inu- small dog if you didn't know)? while the footprint of the rainshadow is obviously considerably larger, have any of you that have actually used it run into problems finding a place to pitch it? Any other thoughts and considerations would be much appreciated!

James,
My wife and I share a TT Rainbow (it's tight but not uncomforable) so I'm pretty sure the Double Rainbow would offer plenty of room.
Here is a shot that I have "borrowed" from http://www.backpacking.net/bbs.html
It is a pic from Paul C (as a fellow TT owner I hope he doesn't mind) of his DR with a full size mat ( Exped DM7 ?) and his 75 lbs Labrador. (Jeeper)
