I've been reading over Ryan Jordan's 3-season backpacking gearlist, and I was wondering what are the current equivalents of the following items:

Smartwool Aero (lightweight merino wool long sleeve crew)

Smartwool Trail Runner II (lightweight merino wool trail running socks)

Montane Aero (thin, breathable pullover-style wind shirt)

There are many good options that can be looked at for each of these items, my picks are as follows:

Light weight long sleeve: Patagonia Capilene 1 Long Sleeve
Light weight wool sock: Defeet Blaze socks
Wind shell: Patagonia Houdini Full Zip
