Can anyone tell me if the current model (2008) has changed significantly over last year's model?
I noticed that REI has this one on sale too.
thanks

I have the same question on the Marmot Hydrogen bag. I noticed that Marmot now lists the bag at 1 lb, 9 oz. Last year's model was 1 lb, 5 oz. (listed weight–need someone to confirm this). Backcountry.com still lists the bag at 1 lb 5 oz:
I am torn between the Mountain Hardwear Phantom and the Marmot Hydrogen–someone please help me decide.
thanks

I bought this bag in 2006. The one I have weighs 1 lb 6 oz. I've used this bag several times. It's a fine bag and gets me to 30 degrees if I'm wearing pants and a fleece top. I'm a cold sleeper. I haven't seen the newer bag.
I have the old Hydrogen, and as far as I know, the only differences are that the new one has a full length zipper and a different color.

What length zipper did the old Marmot Hydrogen have?
Can anyone comment on the new MH Phantom 32? (It has a 3/4 zipper)
Which one would you guys pick between these two?
thanks
David
I believe they changed the material on the new hydrogen, adding to it's weight. I had an older model in the long, it weighed 26 ounces.
Mine has the half zipper.
