I have just a *small* complaint/request. I DO NOT want any merchandize branded with "Backpackinglight.com" on it. Could you PLEASE make it obvious on each product description whether or not it is branded? I now have carabiners, a titanium spoon and a wool shirt with this logo on it, and these were all intended for my partner's birthday present. Now I can't give them as I don't want my partner to know where I got them or how much I spent on them, and this is impossible with the website blazened on them. I also can't use them myself for the same reason (ie my partner will see the logo). Pretty please???? What a waste of money (and postage, not trivial to NZ)…

Name any gear that is not branded by the manufacturer?

Not everything that is sold on this site is branded with "Backpackinglight.com". In fact, most stuff isn't branded this way. I would just like to know if it is or isn't before I order. For instance, have a look at these carabiners:

http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/ursalite_micro_carabiner.html

The photo clearly say "Ursalite" on it, yet when the carabiners arrived they had "Backpackinglight.com" on them instead. This is NOT what I thought I was ordering, even if they have the same technical specifications.

Just like some folks would like to know that their BPL gear is not always (if ever) made in USA, or want to know the exact ingredients and nutritional profile of any food they buy, I would like to know how the gear I'm buying is branded.
